I had been using the MagicJack for several years and then relocated and chose to port a number for my MagicJack account. From that time on, a feature that I really need stopped working. Prior to the move, Caller ID would display when a Call-Waiting came in. This would allow to me decide whether or not to interrupt the telephone call I was on. This feature is important to me because I conduct much of my business via telephone and do not like to interrupt a business call unless it is urgent. On the other hand, I live with my elderly parents, so often incoming calls are from doctors. Without the Caller ID with Call-Waiting function, I have to interrupt every business call, and many times, turns out to be a Robo-Call. When I attempted to get help from MagicJack, it took hours and a transfer (after the first two hours) to someone who told me that this feature is not available. When I explained, again, that I had used this feature previously, they simply ended the chat because I "hadn't replied" -- this was seconds after the operator's last post. I thought it was a mistake, so I tried again, and again, and again. All four times, I was "hung up" on by operators who simply did not want to or did not know how to deal with my issue. In addition, they were quite rude, except for the very first operator. When I tried emailing, I was told that I would receive a reply within a week and never heard back (it's been about six weeks now). There is also no way to reach them by telephone. I finally asked for a refund of my pre-paid eight years of service, and that operator ignored my request, told me they have already addressed this issue and that I need to accept it, and promptly ended the chat, again saying that I hadn't responded, even though only seconds had passed between her response and disconnect.
