WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! - magicjack


The only way to get assistance is through the chat feature: there is no telephone number available for anything except billing. The operators who handle the chats are extremely rude, and when they decide they don't want to talk with you any more, they simply enter the pre-typed response "Since we haven't heard from you, we must release this chat. Please click here should you need further assistance: www.magicJack.com/techchat" regardless of how much time has passed since your last response. This happened to me four times, including once with a manager, whom I asked for specifically due to poor customer service. Not once did any operator ever express any concern whatsoever, much less issue an apology, for the trouble I was having. Subsequent operators would read the previous chat and then reply with something like this (actual quote): "The previous operators already explained everything regarding on this matter Cheri.. It's up t you to accept the facts that there's nothing we can do on that right now.." When I resorted to emailing my letter of complaint, I was informed that someone would get back to me within a week. That was about two months ago. When I tried addressing the issue again using the chat feature, I asked for a refund of the eight years of service for which I have prepaid. The operator immediately issued (within seconds) the above statement about ending the chat since they hadn't heard from me.
