    I had been using the MagicJack for several years and then relocated and chose to port a number for my MagicJack account. From that time on, a feature that I really need stopped working. Prior to the move, Caller ID would display when a Call-Waiting came in. This would allow to me decide whether or not to interrupt the telephone call I was on. This feature is important to me because I conduct much of my business via telephone and do not like to interrupt a business call unless it is urgent.     I purchased a magicjack plus and a five year plan all at the same time. It's now a year later and I'm getting a message saying my subscription is ending. Where are the four other years I paid for? I purchased this due to my income going way down to only 1,500/mo and antisipated in advance, I could not afford ATT so I went this route.   • misleading advice and refusal to honor contract



    I signed up with MJ in 2008. The device never worked properly and , even though I was assured there would be no problems, it was blamed on the fact that I was using it on a Mac. I was also promised the ability to get a Canadian number and that took nearly 2 years to happen. With still no decent functionality I loaned it to my son who eventually misplaced it. When I looked into a replacement, I was told they could replace but if I wanted the new MJ+, I would have to pay full price.     I've tried to contact you people to no success. This is a problem no matter how I try to talk to someone I get nothing but customer service It wont accept my password and number so I can't get my answer I need.     I purchased a magicjack phone device in US.As per a mail received on February 11,2009 from the company, my account ID is 9468471. I have successfully used the device in US and also from India, where I am located at present.
