    The only way to get assistance is through the chat feature: there is no telephone number available for anything except billing. The operators who handle the chats are extremely rude, and when they decide they don't want to talk with you any more, they simply enter the pre-typed response "Since we haven't heard from you, we must release this chat.     I purchased a magicjack plus and a five year plan all at the same time. It's now a year later and I'm getting a message saying my subscription is ending.     I have had MJ for 3 years with a 6 year license. As of 8 days ago service stopped them saying my account is under review to wait for a email. That was 8 days ago. Still today no service and when I contact customer service chat I get the same story 9-10 times I will have service after the review wait for email then get disconected from chat.     I had to renew my magic jack today as service expired on April, I paid another full year of service to get my service back. It is already June and when I checked my account they put the expiry date on April 2013 and not a year after I paid a full year of service. When I contact customer service, they keep dropping my live chat and finally third rep i talk to tells me that service renews on the date of activation and not when you reactivate. After spending over 5 hours and still not having my problem resolved, the tech rudely disconnected me because I would not ask a friend /family member call me because it was past 12am. to confirm whether my magicjack phone could receive incoming calls. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Had about 4 chats and in two of the four conversation I was told straight out that once I purchased a PLUS they would refund the unused part of my previous service that was just 2 days short of the 5 years I pre-paid. Had they sent me the PLUS when I first requested it 2 months ago I would have been able to cancel the old contract with the original MJ and not used ANY time on the renewal. The last time they told me I could get a refund was THE SAME DAY I ordered the plus but lo and behold now they tell me no refunds are allowed regardless of what I was told. WHAT A SCAM THESE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING! You can check my chats if you wish. I will wait to get a response (one week) before I do it on Facebook and Twitter and every place else hoping it will go viral.

TO THE POINT MAJICJACK HAS NO COUSTMER SERVICE,I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM FOR TWO DAYS IN SEPTEMBER AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY RESPONCE AS YET AND TO-DAY DATE IS 2-13-12. SOME ONE SHOULD FILE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT FOR BREACH OF THEIR CONTRACT.

It seems everything I read here is so true as I feel I've been scammed too!The renewal notice came on and I tried to renew. The only respone I got was to say they have saved the credit card number for future reference. What the h---is going on!The renewal notice is still there! Then I chatted live with one of the live fraud agents to tell them of a problem I am experiencing. I was transferred from one agent to the next. They promised to send an email which never came. Now I cannot get through to the live fraudsters any more! Such a scam!I am waiting to see what happens with my credit card because my lawyer will throw the books at them so hard they won't know what hit them! I signed up for the free 30 day trial and it stated my creditcard would not be charged until after the 30 day trial. It was taken out same day. i tried calling and no answer. tried live chat 3 times and they stated it wasnt charged yet. this customer service is Horrible!!!! i would assist anyone wanting magicjack to go to radio shack or somewhere but not directly through them because they totally screwed me. reading the reviews this is what they have been doing with everyone. this is ridulous. Very Upset.

I had my magicjack for three years, it been nothing but problems. If you have ant-virus program,your magicjack will not work. You have to uninstall them. Every virus in the world will attacked your computer. They upgraded last year.Which mess things up, including your computer.

I purchased my MagiJack on Nov 12 2009. It works great! Before use it you have to do the registration, select your number. I started making calls to my country and worked very well. I did not cancel my regular mumber at home because the Internet service will be more expensive with AT&T if I would have cancelled it. MagicJack is great to call locally, long distance, and Internationally. Yes the computer has to be on to make and received calls, but you have your regular number at home for somebody to call you from anywhere. I do not pay long distance or international services on my regular number at home. I use my MagicJack for those services. I pay less for my regular phone at home and for my cell phone as well because when I am at home I use more my MagicJack to make call locally, long distance, and International. I am saving money with my MagicJack. It great!!!

POOR customer service. I asked specific questions before purchasing. Wanted number I could remember, such as a repeating number. Promised I could choose my number, but my area code was not even listed as a choice, let alone any repeating number. I looked at every area code offered me & scanned all numbers. Took about 8 hours. They lied to me--4 different people. I have the chats copies. VERY unsatisfied!!
